Glüxkind Unveiled Smart Stroller ‘Ella’ at CES 2023
United
States: To support new parents on their everyday travels, be more inclusive,
and allow families to spend precious time together, the company Glüxkind
Technologies launched ‘Ella’. Glüxkind is a Canadian baby technology startup
founded in 2020 by Anne Hunger and Kevin Huang. The company has been named a
CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2023 Innovation Awards Honoree in the advanced
mobility category.
Ella,
the AI stroller is battery-powered and equipped with artificial intelligence
(AI), yet it has the same size as a conventional stroller and a reversible
seat. It is made and optimized for real life. The stroller is equipped with an
‘Advanced Driver Assist System’ (ADAS) that gives an extra set of hands and
eyes as an individual is moving around. The stroller features a multi-level
braking system that automatically applies the brakes when the stroller is left
unattended. In addition to providing smart brake assistance, it even carries
additional baggage on the trip home. Parents and carers can both enjoy
effortless walks regardless of the terrain—uphill, downhill, and even when
fully loaded with groceries and toys with the help of Ella's adaptive push and
brake assistance.
The
company claims that parents can rely on Ella's smart hands-free strolling when
their child needs a hug or wants to take a short stroll outside of the
stroller. According to the company, Glüxkind Ella's cutting-edge parent
assistance technology enables parents to be present and concentrate on their
children without compromising or distracting multitasking. Glüxkind’s AI
stroller offers features like Rock-My-Baby mode to help the child stay asleep
or built-in white noise playback.
Commenting
on the recent development, TechSci Research Director, Mr. Karan Chechi said, “Baby
stroller companies are competing with other businesses to retain their top
position in these highly competitive markets, by using modern technology and
innovative improvements. As the world has shifted towards automation and
IoT over the past four years, the use of smart and electronic technologies
has become a growing trend. Throughout the anticipated period, it is projected
that the use of smart connect strollers will have an impact on new product
launches.”
