Zevia to launch Ready-to-Drink Organic Tea

Zevia is all set to launch a new line of eight ready-to-drink tea flavors. The tea is sugar free, naturally sweetened with stevia, zero calorie, non-carbonated, non-GMO. Zevia’s line now encompasses a wide-range of Liquid Refreshment Beverages.

United States: Zevia, the top naturally sweetened beverage company that produces zero calorie drinks has recently announced its new product-Zevia Organic Tea. It is a line of eight Ready-To-Drink (RTD) Tea flavors that are zero calories as they are naturally sweetened with plant-based sweetener stevia. In addition, Zevia Organic Teas are sugar-free, non-carbonated, non-GMO, and steeped in Fair Trade Certified Tea. The tea will carry the USDA Organic seal. The range includes eight flavors like Black Tea, Green Tea and herbal flavors, including two caffeine-free options.

Zevia's product portfolio includes a wide range of Liquid Refreshment Beverage (LRB) categories, like Soda, Sparkling Water, Energy drinks, Mixers and now Ready To Drink Tea. Zevia is gaining popularity among shoppers that seek out healthier options for artificially sweetened beverages due to simple, plant-based ingredients and products.

In an interview, the CEO of the company claimed that reducing the intake of sugar is one of the major concerns among consumers in the US as around 85% of the population is switching to sugar-free alternatives. He further added that Zevia was the first brand to introduce zero-calorie and naturally sweetened beverages and is constantly trying to build sugar free products without compromising on the taste.

He further added that Zevia aids consumers to reduce their overall sugar consumption and start their fitness jorney by providing nearly half the added sugar in their beverages.

The Tea will retail for $1.99 each and in 12 oz. sleek cans. The nationwide availability will start in late summer 2018. The line is expected to make its public debut at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, Calif.

Organic tea & coffee are manufactured without using any synthetic fertilizers or chemicals. Only organic fertilizers and chicken manure are used during their production.
