Shaker Group launched new generation of dual inverter air conditioners

The company is focusing on advance technology related energy efficient product

Saudi Arabia: Shaker Group, the sole distributor of LG air conditioners in Saudi Arabia, conducted recently the annual dealer’s conventions in five Saudi cities. The events were attended by over 1,500 guests, including LG air conditioner dealers, contractors, developers and media people. Shaker Group collaborated with its global partner LG Electronics to develop the most advanced air conditioners with the dual inverter technology to meet the consumer need and comply with the energy efficient standards of the Saudi Government. The new AC is capable of reducing electricity bills by up to 53 percent, as per the international TUV Laboratory’s certified tests.

According to TechSci Research, the company is the market leader in Saudi Arabia and in order to continue its dominance in the country, the company is increasing its range of smart and energy efficient air conditioners.

Segment-wise, split air conditioners dominate the market, as they can be easily installed in multi-storey buildings, occupy less space and are cost-efficient. However, the market for chillers in Saudi Arabia is expected to outpace the rest of the air conditioner segments in the coming years. In 2015, LG Shaker grabbed the largest market share in Saudi Arabia’s air conditioners market, followed by Zamil, Gree, Samsung Electronics and Daikin Air Conditioning Saudi Arabia.
