Daikin Starts Production of its Air Conditioners in Texas
Daikin’s subsidiary Goodman Mfg. Co. is in the process of moving all its
U.S. operations to the Texas campus.

States: Daikin Air Conditioning US subsidiary Goodman Mfg. Co.
announced the start of production of air conditioners in its USD417 million
Texas facility. Daikin announced in January 2015 that it would build a
state-of-the-art facility around northwest Houston of Texas. The campus is
expected to employ more than 5,000 people, which comes as a part of Daikin’s
global commitment to support in-country design, engineering, and assembly.
Goodman,
a member of the Daikin group, is also in the process of moving all its U.S.
operations to the Texas campus. Daikin Texas Technology Park will eventually
encompass 4.1 million operational square feet.
According
