guru Ramdev has announced its plans to set up mega food park in Rajasthan and
Patanjali group, which is entering into spices and dairy segments will buy farm
produce products from the state. Patanjali is entering into the milk
industry and Rajasthan would be a part of its journey. Patanjali is planning to
come up with large scale in spices, will purchase them from Rajasthan and process.
Besides spices company will sell cow milk also. The company will start buying
milk from the state from next year.
Further, the farm will
grow gooseberry, aloe vera, ashwagandha, giloy, pearl and millet. Rajasthan
is also transforming its agricultural landscape and is actively promoting
global best practices and adopt innovations such as use of drones for effective
input management, digital soil mapping, natural farming with zero budget or
technology enabled traceability systems and employing innovative cultivation
methods.
According to TechSci Research, with increase in
population in India the demand for the milk and dairy products is increasing
which is pushing the dairies to expand their milk operations in order to meet the
demands. Companies are opening such factories which are equipped with modern
facilities so that they can offer value added products to the consumers. The
companies in order to maximize the profits should offer its dairy products to
the newer markets and regions.

projected to grow at a CAGR of over 7% during 2016 - 2021. In 2015, North India
dominated the country’s dairy products market, on account of increasing per
