  • On 11 December 2022, a new technology developed at Tel Aviv University enables doctors to destroy cancerous tumors in a targeted and non-invasive manner using ultrasound and the injection of nanobubbles into the patient’s bloodstream. The microbubbles congregate around the tumor, which are then exploded using low-frequency ultrasound, reducing the amount of off-target damage compared with other treatments.
