Precision Technology Acquired by Valentus Specialty Chemicals

United States: Valentus Specialty Chemicals (Valentus) which is a holding company of US-based Huron Capital Partners has recently acquired the floor finishes business of Precision Technology (Precision) which is based in Tennessee. Huron Capital partnered with John Ragazzini, Ray Chlodney and Bob Taylor which are the well-known names in the coatings industry, and Valentus was formed. The Precision Technology deal is the 2nd for Huron's and is focused on specialty coatings. In December 2015, Valentus acquired National Paint Industries (NPI), a coatings manufacturing company. The company has plans to expand its business across geographies and add new products under its brand name.

TechSci Research depicts that the expansion plans of Valentus Specialty Chemicals would help the company to grow as a brand name. This would expand the company’s product portfolio as the floor coating business of Precision includes; acid cure floor coating system, that is inclusive of Swedish Crown and Swedish Finish product lines as well as the Precision Polyurethane oil-based finish.
