Wipro to open delivery centers in the United States, targeting $15 Billion by 2020
India: The newly appointed CEO of Wipro
Limited set the target for the company to have the record revenue of $15
Billion by 2020. To achieve the same, the company is expanding its presence
both at international and national level.
The
company aims to open new delivery centers at multiple locations in the United
States; San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, and New Jersey are few of the
shortlisted locations by the company.
Further,
the company plans to increase its presence in India and looking for expanding
the delivery centers beyond Tier -1 cities (Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and
Delhi) where Wipro already have the presence. As well, it aims to tap the
technology talent from the Tier -2 cities such as Vizag, Kochi, and
Bhubaneshwar to name a few.
As
per the company COO and president Bhanumurthy BM, the company is looking
forward to have diversity of talent and culture within the company, the
multiple delivery centers provide continuity of the services to the customers;
and he further stated that since the talent availability is increasing, the location
options where talent is available is increasing.
Recently,
the company had opened an innovation and technology center in San Francisco in
the United States.

innovation and delivery centers to enhance the product innovation, customer
satisfaction, and revenue.
