Milliken & Company has announced acquisition of Keystone Aniline Corporation to improve
service to global colorant customers

Company, a United States based leading manufacturer of coatings, specialty
chemicals, and advanced additive and colorant technologies has acquired Keystone
Aniline Corporation, which is a major manufacturer of dyes, pigments, pigment
dispersions and polymers across the globe. This deal would bring together the two
organizations with complementary expertise and capabilities, enabling creation
of a robust portfolio that would drive new global opportunities. With a focus
on polymeric colorants, Milliken’s Performance Colorants & Ingredients
business would synthesize new molecules while Keystone would provide
exceptional formulation and application development technology. The acquisition
by Milliken is an expansion strategy to penetrate and grow new markets to gain
a competitive advantage.

acquisition by Milliken would result in strengthening its market share and
value across the globe. The procurement would help Milliken to streamline the
supply chains by accessing a wider range of products from a single source, which
would further benefit both existing and new customers.

United States market for textile chemicals is projected to surpass USD2.6
billion by 2020. Presently, home textiles segment accounts for the largest
