3D Printers To Accelerate Manufacturing Of Luxury Helicopter Parts
Roboze
partners Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG) to aid in production of end- use
components of helicopters
Italy: Manufacturers and developer of innovative 3D
printers, Italy based Roboze has
introduced ‘Roboze One +400’, the second-generation 3D printer which will be
used by Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG) for the production of luxurious helicopter
interior.
Mecaer Aviation
Group (MAG) is involved in designing an aesthetic and conceptual model of
end-parts using 3D printers. In addition, after installing ‘Roboze One +400’, the
company will be able to design and manufacture end-products using Advanced
materials including PEI, Carbon filled Nylon and Peek.
"We are
delighted that Mecaer Aviation Group has chosen Roboze to produce finished
components in super polymers for its helicopters,” Alessio Lorusso, CEO of
Roboze, commented. “The aviation sector is of great interest for us, we
designed the One +400 to meet the needs of this market by investing a lot in
R&D on the extrusion process for engineering plastics such as PEEK. We
expect the aerospace and aviation industry will represent for us in the next
five years an important and strategic business channel.” he further added.
TechSci Research depicts that with increasing investment on research
& development by the companies involved in manufacturing 3D printers
coupled with growing adoption of 3D printers in various end user industries for
manufacturing process is driving the demand of 3D printers. In addition, with
the help in expanding company’s market share globally.
With increasing adoption of personal as well as industrial & metal
3D printers, growing investment on research & development by the companies
involved in manufacturing 3D printers coupled with increasing government
support is driving the demand of 3D printers across globe. United States,
Germany, Netherland, Russia, etc. are the major countries using 3D printers for
various applications including automotive, packaging, consumer electronics,
etc.
According to the recent
report published by TechSci Research,
“Global
3D Printers Market Forecast and Opportunities,
2020”, global
3D printers market is estimated to grow at a CAGR of over 31% through 2020. Increasing
adoption within manufacturing industries, decreasing average selling prices and
government support are the key factors driving 3D printers market globally. Besides
manufacturing industries, educational institutes, and research agencies such as
NASA are also adopting 3D printers for various R&D activities.
