Koch Membrane Systems announces the introduction of eco-friendly Causti-COR Nanofiltration Systems for Caustic Recovery

United States: Koch Membrane Systems, a global membrane filtration technology giant, has unveiled a new Causti-COR Nanofiltration Standard Systems for purification and recovery of caustic compounds in food & beverage sector and other end-use industries. These systems are expected to recover up to 95% of caustic from process equipment cleaning solutions. The company has merged features of its SelRO membranes with its process equipment designing expertise to introduce these cost-effective, energy efficient and eco-friendly nanofiltration systems. Six different variants of Causti-COR systems are available in the market with customized solutions to treat specific flow-rates.

TechSci Research depicts that the introduction of these advanced and economic nanofiltration systems would strengthen the position of the company in the United States membranes market and would help the company to expand its customer outreach to the industries facing stringent effluent discharge limits. Moreover, this would help the industries to reduce their water footprint and successfully adhere to the regulatory norms in the United States.

According to the recently published report by TechSci Research, United States Membranes Market By Type, By Application, Competition Forecast and Opportunities, 2011 - 2021”, the country’s membrane market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 8% during 2016 - 2021. Increasing government investments for setting up water treatment plants in the US is also expected to drive demand for membranes by water & waste water treatment industry over the next five years. With water deficient conditions prevalent across various parts of the country, implementation of water conservation and water recycling strategies to reuse the water has become a priority, which is augmenting demand for membranes in the country. Over the next five years, membrane use in medical applications such as hemodialysis and pharmaceutical industry in the US is also expected to grow at a rapid pace.
