JTT Technology Plans to Launch Drone for Aerial Shark Detection

drone company, JTT Technology, soon to use drones for Shark Patrol
China: JTT Technology, the Chinese
drone company has planned to launch new drones, that would be used for an
aerial shark detection force over the western coast Down Under. JTT Technology uses
4G wireless platform for transferring images and videos for rescuing purpose. The
company also deploy its JTT T60 hexacopter to monitor beaches for sharks. JTT
has also partnered with Australian company, Surf Life Saving WA to enhance its
drone technology.
“JTT is proud of contributing
its own strength in patrolling and protecting people on Australia Coast.
“Drones are ‘the future of rescue’” We’ll keep on working hard and improving
T60 UAV’s functions to make a better life-saving drone” said JTT vice president
Li Xia.
As per TechSci Research, by
introducing an all new specific drone, the company has displayed a new type of
drone application for shark patrolling. As of 2016, JTT technology is
considered to be one of the early initiators in drone market, to monitor beaches
around the region. In addition, the move is also expected to increase the
demand for drones in the global market in coming years.
According to a recent report
published by TechSci Research, “Global
Commercial Drone Market By Drone Type,
By Application, By Region, Competition Forecast and Opportunities, 2015-2021”, the global market for
commercial drone is projected to grow at a CAGR of over 27% during 2016-2021.
In 2015, North America and Europe cumulatively accounted for a market share of
more than 60% in the global commercial drone market. With US being the largest
market for commercial drones, the civil aviation body of the US, Federal
Aviation Administration, has constantly been making amendments in policies and
regulations for use of commercial drones in the country. Moreover, frequent
modifications in the regulatory policies by European Aviation Safety Agency
(EASA) over the last few years has also been positively influencing the drone
industry.
