security applications
France:
Safran
Identity and Security recently launched MorphoFACE, which is its new solution
based on biometric facial recognition and is meant to provide seamless security
to applications. This latest entrant in the world of biometric is a face
scanning equipment shaped like a large tablet along with a supporting stand which
can be integrated into existing environments to secure sensitive sites, ports,
train stations or financial institutions.
This
state-of-the-art solution aims at helping airports and border checkpoints in
dealing with the growing number of travellers by offering them with fast and
secure biometric solution. It is based on the latest 3D video analysis
technology which enables a seamless flow of users by combining reliability with
ergonomics.
Samuel Fringant, Executive
Vice President of Security Division at Safran Identity & Security said, “In
a globalized world where airports and border checkpoints are vital hubs, we
believe that ‘on the move' biometrics will play a key role in securing borders
while reducing wait times and improving travel experience. With our offer, we
are proud to contribute to make our borders safer and smarter."
