Goodyear Launches New Ultra High Performance (UHP)Tire SportControl 2
The
renowned tire manufacturing company introduced UHP tire under its Fulda brand
Europe: Goodyear launched its
SportControl 2 summer ultra-high performance tire under Fulda brand. As per the
company, the new tire provides an enhanced performance on dry and wet road
surface. The new tire is manufactured with an advanced tread design which
enhances the tires contact with the road and further balances its pressure
distribution.
Moreover, the tire also
delivers better steering precision which enables it to offer high performance
on dry roads owing to its reduced tire tread deformation, been created by stiff
and wide outside shoulder. In addition, the tire’s multiple AquaFlow grooves
facilitate quick water discharge and traction on wet surfaces.
The company has always been striving
for improved products and increased customer satisfaction under its Fulda brand.
With its high mileage capabilities, Fulda SportControl 2 tire provides great
value for money. According to Martijn De Jonge, brand director Consumer PBU
EMEA at Goodyear, “Our consumers will not only get a tire which is friendly to
the wallet, but thanks to its great handling they will also get a performance
tire.”
As per TechSci Research,
Fulda brand by Goodyear Dunlop is gaining wide popularity across European
region. By introducing a new UHP tire, the company, has targeted a more
specific set of consumers under the passenger car segment in the entire region.
Eventually, with the growing demand for the company’s tires by car owners, the
sale of Fulda SportControl 2 tires is expected to grow in coming years, adding
up to the overall Europe tire market.
According to a recent report published by TechSci Research,
“Europe
Tire Market Forecast and Opportunities, 2021”, tire market in Europe is projected to cross $49 billion by 2021 on
account of anticipated stabilization of crude oil price, expected rise in the
vehicle sales and expanding vehicle fleet. The vehicle fleet in the region is
dominated by the passenger car segment, followed by the commercial vehicle
segment. Consequently, the passenger car tire segment held the largest share in
Europe’s tire market in 2015, and its dominance is anticipated to continue
during the forecast period. Growing per capita income and anticipated increase
in the launch of new vehicle models are few of the key factors expected to
drive demand for passenger car tires in Europe over the next five years.
