Yokohama to Add a New OTR Tire to its Portfolio
United
States: The
United States subsidiary of Yokohama, is going to launch a brand new all-season
radial tire for various OTR equipment like loaders, graders and dozers. Yokohama
Tire Corp.'s (YTC) would officially unveil the tire by next month at 2017 ConExpo-Con/Agg
show, to be held in Las Vegas, United States.
The new tire, MYX S01 would
be showcased among the other OTR and commercial vehicle tires at the company’s booth
No. C22231, in the event.
As per Yokohama, the MYX S01
radial tire is incorporated with an advance siping tread, offering an
outstanding traction on snowy & icy roads. Besides that, the excellent non directional
tread design would also provide rasping resistance and intense versatility, resulting
in longer tire life. The tire would initially be available in 17.5R25 size.
Besides launching various
news models of OTR tires at the event, the company would also feature its brand
new tire data tracking software, namely, Y Trax.
TechSci Research believes
that the decision made by Yokohama to add a new OTR tire size with advance features
would strengthen the company’s current tire portfolio across the United States market,
which would further assist the company to cater to the growing demand for tires,
specifically in the OTR equipment segment of the country. Also, the new tire data
tracking software would act as an add-on to the company’s tire management
services.
