Tata Motors and Microsoft Collaborate to Bring Artificial Intelligence and IoT in Motor Driving
India: Tata Motors has announced a strategic
partnership with Microsoft to leverage the cloud based connected vehicle technology
which utilises Artificial Intelligence concept of machine learning and Internet
of Things, to enhance the overall driving experience. The new technology
vehicle will be showcased on March 7, 2017 at Geneva International Motor show.
The
technology uses advanced navigation, predictive maintenance, telematics and
remote monitoring features to provide a good driving experience. This
technology will enable the vehicle owners to receive proactive point- of
interest, shopping and route assistance very easily. Moreover, the new
technology will help in reducing the vehicle downtime by giving pre-emptive
service and fault alerts.
