Solvay and United Chemical to Construct Hydrogen Peroxide Plant in Kazakhstan
Solvay
and United Chemical (UCC) examine construction of a new hydrogen peroxide
facility to cater to domestic as well as Central Asian countries
Kazakhstan: Solvay, which has recently developed
its new technology, namely myH2O2 Concept, for onsite H2O2 plants, has teamed
up with United Chemical (UCC), which has been commissioned by the Government of
Kazakhstan for development of chemical industry and economy of the country, to inspect
the construction of new hydrogen peroxide capacity in Kazakhstan. The new
hydrogen peroxide plant would meet the requirement of Kazakh companies and
customers in other Central Asian countries. Solvay has 17 plants across the
globe including North and South America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and
Australia. It has world’s largest hydrogen peroxide plant in Map Ta Phut
(Thailand).
Techsci Research depicts that
the construction of hydrogen peroxide plant at Kazakhstan would bolster the
company’s production network for catering large remote consumers of hydrogen
peroxide in Central Asia.
