Camso Launched All New MST 776 Tire

Camso recently introduced one of its most advance tire, MST 776, for Load Haul Dump Equipment

United States: The renowned Off-The-Road (OTR) tire manufacturer, Camso, recently unveiled an all new tire for its application on underground mining Load Haul Dump (LHD) equipment.

The new tire, Camso MST 776 provides an utmost durability on firm surfaces by load haul dump equipment, operating in the underground mining applications.

“Knowing how uptime is crucial in underground mining, the new Camso MST 776 was engineered to maximize tread life while protecting it from puncture,” says Mike Dembe, Camso’s product management director for North America and Latin America.

The MST 776 tire is inclined with smooth deep L5 tread design and provides a longer life against wear & tear along with better durability. The new tire is also puncture resistance for underground mining equipment. As per Camso, the tire provides an enhanced traction and improved grip on road surfaces. Besides that, the MST 776 tire is integrated with an advance rubber compound which offers resistance against wear and cuts and reduces heat build-up while operating.

“The MST 776 is all about superior performance,” says Dembe, “and customers will see as it outperforms the competition in terms of tire life and heat resistance.”

TechSci Research believes that the step taken by Camso to introduce a new OTR equipment tire would strengthen the company’s current tire portfolio across the global market. Moreover, considering the growing demand for Off-the-Road (OTR) tires, the company would be able to penetrate a huge chunk of consumers across the world in following years. In addition, it is forecast that eventually the sale of Camso MST 776 tire would rise in coming period.

According to a recent report published by TechSci Research, “Global OTR Tire Market By Vehicle Type (Mining, Construction and Industrial Equipment, Agriculture Vehicles, and Others), By Demand Category (OEM Vs. Replacement), By Region, Competition Forecast and Opportunities, 2011 – 2021”, the global OTR tire market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 8% during 2016-2021. On the basis of vehicle type, the market has been segmented into three categories - Mining, Construction & Industrial Equipment; Agriculture Vehicles; and Others. Among these categories, Mining, Construction & Industrial Equipment segment dominated the global OTR tire market during 2011-2015, and the segment in anticipated to maintain its dominance during the forecast period as well on account of growing construction, industrial and infrastructure activities across the globe and more specifically in major developing countries. As of 2015, there were over 200 OTR tire manufacturing facilities across the globe, with more than 50% plants in Asia-Pacific region.
