Indian Motorcycle Unveils Two New Models for Indian Market
India: Pankaj Dubey, CEO and Director of Eicher Polaris and
Country Head & Managing Director of Polaris India, along with Anil Shankar,
President and CEO of Exquisite Moto LLP, launched new model of Indian
Motorcycle, named the Springfield and the Chieftain Dark Horse, in Bengaluru. The
new Springfield is priced at USD47,000 (ex-showroom) and Chieftain Dark Horse
is priced at USD48,500 (ex-showroom) in India.
The Indian Springfield is a
mix of versatility with touring comfort due to its advance technology. The new
models are loaded with several exciting features such as a split seat,
tourer-oriented steering geometry coupled with better handling. The bike is equipped
with its powerful Thunder Stroke 111 engine which delivers 138.9 Nm @ 2600 RPM
of torque and an air adjustable rear shock absorbers.
The second model, Chieftain
Dark Horse is also powered with a similar, Thunder Stroke 111 engine, and is
installed with the similar chassis as of Indian Springfield. In addition, the
Indian Chieftain Dark Horse is also outfitted with a solo seat, ABS, tinted
power windscreen, electronic cruise control, audio system, etc.

Indian Motorcycle is already a renowned premium motorcycle brand across the
entire country. Moreover, with the launch of two new motorcycle variants in the
Indian market, the company is likely to gain an advantage over its competitors,
