Google and LG to Launch Android Wear 2.0 Smartwatch in February 2017
United States: US-based technology
company, Google and South Korea based electronics company, LG, have partnered
to launch the first Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch in February 2017. These
smartwatches will be based on Apple Digital- Crown technology, which serves to
facilitate navigation.
Moreover, the hardware specifications of the watches include
4GB storage and 768MB RAM, with heart rate sensor and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE,
GPS and NFC. The deployment of Android Wear 2.0 in these devices, will make
their functionalities more smoother and faster by adding new features like
Google Assistant, handwriting support, app store, etc.
