Maroon Group LLC to Buy Cadence Chemical Corporation

United States: Maroon Group, an Ohio based specialty chemicals supplier for major companies including U.S. Chemicals, CNX Distribution, D.B. Becker, Addipel, and Polyram USA, has recently completed the acquisition of a Stamford based specialty chemicals distributor, that is, Cadence Chemical Corporation. Cadence Chemical would be included as a part of Specialty Intermediates division of Maroon Group. The terms and conditions of the transactions have not been disclosed. Cadence Chemical is involved in the distribution of specialty intermediate chemicals for various industries including water treatment, chemical processing, coatings, elastomers, adhesives, sealants and others.

TechSci Research depicts that this acquisition would further help Maroon to strength their position as well as enhance their customer base and product offering in North America region.  In particular, this acquisition would result in improved supply chain for chemicals used in the water & wastewater treatment industry.
