Fibaro Launches its Three New Low Energy Bluetooth Sensors for HomeKit Platform of Apple
Poland: The Poland-based smart home peripheral
provider, Fibaro, launched its flood sensor, motion sensor as well as door
& window sensor, for the HomeKit platform of US-based technology company,
Apple. These sensors will deploy low energy Bluetooth for communication
purpose.
These sensors depend on a HomeKit hub in
the form of an Apple iPad or TV for initiating any action through
pre-programmed automation events and for sending any information to the user
through iOS 10.2 or tvOS 10.1. These enhancements in HomeKit platform will
enable the users to receive alerts for different connected devices integrated in
their homes.
These sensors are expected to be
available in the US market by the end of 2016 while in other countries, these
sensors will be available in 2017.
TechSci Research depicts that the
deployment of flood, motion as well as home & window sensors across Apple’s
HomeKit platform will help in improving and simplifying the lives of the users as
they will get the alerts regarding any home emergencies.
