Hercules Tire and Rubber Co. Introduces ‘iMove Gen2 SUV’ to its Ironman Series

Tire and Rubber Co. has revealed its new ‘iMove Gen2 SUV tire’ under its Ironman
brand. The new tire features a competitive design, with advance handling in wet
& dry conditions as well as protecting against hydroplaning. As per Hercules,
the new tire would be available in seven varied sizes including 275/55R20 and 305/35R24.
Moreover, the tires would be available through American Tire Distributors (ATD)
chain of network across United States and in Canada through a network of National
Tire Distributors (NTD).
“The iMove Gen2 SUV
represents the latest launch in a sweeping round of product introductions for
Ironman this year – making it the best go-to entry-level brand in the market
today,” said by Jedd Emans, vice president of marketing for Hercules Tire.
Initially, the brand-new tire
would be launched for light trucks, SUVs and crossover vehicles, whereas, the
company plans to extend its launch into other segments, in coming period, as
well.
As per TechSci Research, the introduction
of this new tire by Hercules Tire and Rubber Co. would not only expand the
company’s product portfolio across the country, but also assist Hercules Tire to
meet the growing demand for tires in United States. The move taken by Hercules is
anticipated to further boost the tire sales by the company, across United
States, in coming years.
According to a recent report
published by TechSci Research, “United
States Tire Market Forecast &
Opportunities, 2021”,
the vehicle fleet of the country is dominated by passenger car segment,
followed by light commercial vehicles, medium and heavy commercial vehicles,
off-the-Road (OTR) vehicles and two-wheeler segment. As a result, the passenger
car tire segment held the largest volume share in the country’s tire market in
2015, and its dominance is anticipated to continue during the forecast period
as well. Leading global tire companies operating in the United States include
Bridgestone, Goodyear, Michelin, Cooper, Continental, Sumitomo, Hankook,
Yokohama, etc. The report also portrays huge potential of tire market in
Southeast and Midwest regions of the country. Additionally, gross national
