Google Acquires Smartwatch OS Startup Cronologics

States: Google, an
American multinational technology company has acquired the cronologics, a
startup developing the OS for smartwatch. Deals and terms are not disclosed but
the cronologics team will be joining the Android wear division.
Cronologics in its statement said “We
see strong alignment with Android Wear’s mission and look forward to working
with our new colleagues at Google to continue pushing the frontier of wearable
technology and smartwatches with Android Wear 2.0 and beyond.”
TechSci Research depicts with this acquisition,
google will flush out the capabilities in Android wear and will enhance its
android wear division. Further, with growing technological advancements and
usage, smartwatch industry will grow significantly across the globe.
