Seoul to Introduce New Systematic Traffic Management for Air Traffic
South
Korea: Seoul government
will set up new traffic management system by the next year to improvise airport
safety along with enhance airline services by bringing down the delay in flight
operations.
The new traffic management system will
work to reduce air traffic and flight delays by predicting airport congestion
and thus enable flights to be spaced out beforehand. The move will require to
have local airlines aircraft on standby which will be used as a replacement or
back up flights.
The government will also set up two
single-direction air route to and from china and other Southeast Asian Countries
as present double-direction airways increases the air traffic congestion. The
government claimed that the new air traffic management will be implemented
before the end of next year.
TechSci Research depicts that the
growing number of air traffic resulting in increasing number of air passenger
carriers will essentially require advance air traffic management solution in
place to decongest the airport and flight delays. Intelligent traffic
management solutions will be mandatorily required to avoid air traffic
congestion and help airport authorities to improve air traffic situations.
According to the recent published
by TechSci Research “Global
Traffic Management Market
By Transportation Mode, By System Type,
By Region, Competition Forecast and Opportunities, 2011-2021”, global
traffic management market is projected to surpass US $ 22 billion by
2021. In 2015, North America was the leading regional market for traffic
management due to implementation of stringent government initiatives supporting
use of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), growing need to reduce traffic
congestion and accidents, coupled with increasing utilization of traffic data
for traffic control in real-time. On account of rising population, growing
demand for public transit vehicles, surging automobile sales, and rising demand
for air travel, Asia-Pacific is expected to witness fastest growth in its
traffic management market during the forecast period.
