JSR to Set-up a Masterbatch Production Facility in Mexico

Mexico: Elastomix Co., subsidiary of Japan based JSR Corp., has planned to invest USD5.1 million for the construction of a new carbon masterbatch (CMB) manufacturing facility at Irapuato, Mexico. The construction of the CMB production plant is expected to start in 2017 and it is scheduled to commence commercial production by 2018. Growing demand for masterbatch in Mexico is attributed to the growing manufacturing base for automobile production in the country.
