Triumph Set to Launch Bonneville T100 Model in India

India: Triumph India is about to launch its new motorbike model, Bonneville T100, in the country on 18th October, 2016 at an expected price of around USD11,968. The to be launched motorbike, was initially revealed at the INTERMOT motorcycle show held in Germany and is likely to be positioned between its prior models, Bonneville Street Twin and the Bonneville T120.

The newly revealed motorcycle is a stimulating blend, as it has the motor of Bonneville Street Twin while the frame of Bonneville T120. Triumph Bonneville T100 would be the second most reasonable bike in the Bonneville segment motorcycle of the company.

Globally the Bonneville T100 is available in two variants. Considering the firepower, the 900cc, parallel-twin motor delivers 55PS at 5,900rpm and 80Nm of peak torque is made available at just 3,230rpm. The new Bonneville comprises of all the commodity as seen on the Bonneville T120 such as traction-control, ride-by-wire throttle, an LED rear light and engine immobilizer.

Furthermore, the saddle is also a new component with deeper foam which in turn is expected to offer better luxury while the piping and detailing makes the motorcycle, more attractive. 

According to a recent report published by TechSci Research, “India Premium Motorcycles Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2020”, India’s premium motorcycles market witnessed a major turnaround with rapid increase in demand for premium motorcycles over the last three years. The country’s high net worth individuals and upper middleclass section of the population was further lured with the introduction of low priced domestically assembled premium motorcycles, thereby boosting premium motorcycle sales in India. With the trend of launching new motorcycle models at comparatively lower price tags by leading global players gaining increasing traction, the India premium motorcycles market is expected to grow at a brisk pace through 2020.

As per TechSci Research, with the introduction of Bonneville T100 model by Triumph, the company is likely to expand its product portfolio offering in the Indian market. Also, the growing consumer interest in premium motorcycles across the country, is estimated to provide company a huge customer base in India.
