APL Logistics to expand its business in Oman
Oman: APL Logistics Ltd. has setup APL Logistics
Oman, a joint venture with Arab Global Logistics LLC. The new entity will focus
on developing Oman as a regional logistics hub in order to serve local as well
as international customers in East Africa and Middle East. The Muscat-based
joint venture company will emphasize on providing customers a comprehensive
offering of high-tech and flexible logistics services that can solve day to day
complex issues across production and inbound logistics, multi-modal
transportation, finished vehicle logistics, order management, consolidation, packaging
and customs brokerage.
According to TechSci Research, APL Logistics which is a regional leader for
Middle East, Europe and Africa has now chosen Oman for its strategic location, rapid
diversification of economic activities and rising consumption along with highly
capable workforce and well-established infrastructure the company is compelling
growth prospects in Middle East and Oman.
