tough all-terrain tire”. The new tire is expected to replace Dueler A/T 694
tire across Europe, the new tire is likely to be launched in 23 sizes for rim

“The Bridgestone Dueler range

customers,” said, Jerome Boulet, director of product marketing at Bridgestone
Europe. He further added, “The new Dueler A/T 001 will strengthen this

The lighter construction also makes it a more environmentally friendly tire.”

certified tire to be fitted by vehicles including Jeep Wrangler, Toyota Hilux,
Land Rover Defender and Mercedes G-Wagen. The company also claims that it has
ensured the mileage and the durability of the new tire meets the expectations
already set by the Dueler A/T 694.
Further, the tire also
features a more responsive and immediate handling, better cornering and a
quieter and smoother ride than the existing Dueler A/T 694.
According to a recent report
published by TechSci Research, “Europe
Tire Market Forecast and Opportunities,
2021”,
European Union is among the world's biggest manufacturer of motor vehicles and
the automotive sector accounts for the largest private sector investment in
research and development (R&D). Europe tire market is directly dependent on
the region’s automobile sector, which witnessed sluggish growth during
2011-2015, predominantly due to Eurozone Crisis and slump in the crude oil
prices. These factors led to weak demand for tires across the region, which
restricted the growth of Europe tire market over the last five years. However,
European economies have started recovering, which can be clearly depicted from
the reviving GDP growth rate of the member countries in 2015.
As per TechSci Research, Bridgestone
is expected to expand their product portfolio in the European region following
the launch of new tire range. This expansion is further expected to invite a
new consumer base for the company in the region which is likely to support the
market share of the company in the Europe Tire Market, where the company
already has a significant share.
