CRI Group Enters into a New Business Segment for Wastewater Treatment
India: C.R.I, a leading pumps
manufacturers in India, has entered into a new business segment to cater the
demand for pumps from the sewage and wastewater treatment industry. The company
has launched a 1,080 horse power pump for sewage and wastewater treatment applications
along with offering integrated solutions for wastewater treatment subsectors,
including agitators, aerators, drainage pumps, mixers, accessories, etc. The
company has invested about 100 crores in their Coimbatore plant and expects to
generate sales of around 500 crores from the domestic market and 1000 crores
from exports in the coming 5 years.

with the launch of these high end pumps based on the Italian technology, C.R.I
Pumps is expected to establish a strong presence in the wastewater treatment
market on account of rapid urbanization and water scarcity in the domestic as
well as global market.
