Yokohama Tire Corp. Expand Its ‘BluEarth’ Range of Truck Tires

of the major tire manufacturer Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) launched a new range
of wide base truck tires in the United States. The new tire is designed with
advance features and would be company’s most fuel prominent drive tire along
with excellent performance. Along with greater tread life and a long lasting casing,
the BluEarth 709L UWB would offer an astonishing facility for the fleet clients
and workers throughout the nation. The BluEarth 709L would be offered in
445/50R22.5 size.
Some of the features of the
BluEarth series tires include a progressive tread compound that is resistant to
heat accumulation. Moreover, the tire also has an original depth of 24/32 inch
and also has maneuvering Z-block tread pattern for enhanced grip, especially in
snowy or wet conditions.
YTC is offering a six-year,
three retread warranty on the tire, which is being manufactured at Yokohama’s
production unit in Mie, Japan.
“The BluEarth designation
reflects Yokohama’s most advanced environmental technologies, and the BluEarth
709L UWB definitely fits the bill,” says Andrew Briggs, Yokohama Tire senior
director of tire business planning, product planning and sales operations.
According to a recent report published by TechSci Research, “United States Tyre Market Forecast and Opportunities, 2020’’, the country’s automobile market is the second largest
automobile market of the world, with a motorization rate (including passenger
cars and commercial vehicles) of more than 790 vehicles per 1,000 individuals,
in 2014. Growing disposable income due to firm USD, falling food and oil
prices, and increasing standards of living, are resulting in an increase in
manufacturing and sales of vehicles in the US.
As per TechSci Research,
introduction of new range of truck tires by YTC, would increase the company’s
market penetration across the United States, wherein, the company already holds
a strong position, in terms of sales. Further the move would also tap a large
consumer base in the country, resulting in the growth of the USA tire market in
coming years.
