CEAT Expands its Truck Tire Portfolio in India

India: One of the biggest tire manufacturer of India, CEAT, launched a new range of truck tires in the country. The new tires provide a higher mileage and an improved load carrying capacity. Also, the Win series tires’ by CEAT can be used for multiple transportation applications including perishable cargo, tanker, general goods and containers.

Some of the features of the Win Series truck tires include bead consolidated paired with high strength rubber and steel and tension controlled caracass.

With its numerous features and benefits, we have received a good response and now we are confident that the new range of CEAT Win Series tyres will become the first choice for the trucking community.” said, CEAT’s Vice President-Marketing, Nitish Bajaj.

With the launch of new tires, the company aims to improve the transportation efficiency which in turn reduces the logistics costs which leads to productivity and economic growth.

According to a recent report published by TechSci Research, “India Tire Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2021’, growing automobile sales coupled with expanding automobile fleet are the major factors boosting demand for tires in the country. Moreover, with favorable inflationary scenario, expanding middle class population and increasing national disposable income, tire sales across all the automobile segments are expected to grow in the coming years.  

As per TechSci Research, CEAT holds a frim position in the India’s tire market, as of 2015. Moreover, with the introduction of new range of truck tires, the company would able to tap the domestic market in a better way. Also, CEAT would able to further fulfil the demand for truck tires arising from the commercial vehicle segment of the country.
