According to a recent report published by TechSci Research, “Canada Tyre Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2020” large vehicle fleet and growing hybrid vehicle sales would be few factors driving the Canadian tire market over the coming years. Passenger car tire market is the dominant segment followed by the commercial vehicle tire segment and two-wheelers tire segment in the country’s tire market. Further, the replacement tire segment leads OEM tire segment by huge margins and it is anticipated that this trend will continue over the approaching period.

TechSci Research believes that, by launching the new series of tires, the company would able to offer consumers a better product portfolio as per their needs in snowy weather. Consequent to which, it is expected that sale of Michelin’s new winter tires in Canada would rise in coming years, thereby tapping the share of company in Canada tire market.
