APL Logistics Expands Its Oman Presence by Forming Joint Venture
Oman: APL
Logistics Ltd., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan based Kintetsu World Express, Inc. has announced the setup of APL Logistics Oman, by
forming a joint venture with Arab Global Logistics LLC in Oman. The efforts
initiated by APL Logistics Oman are to develop Oman as a regional logistics hub
and the company will serve international and local customers of East Africa and
Middle-East.
APL Logistics is a renowned
company in the cold chain sector which offers origin and destination services
in around 60 countries. The company serves as a global supply chain specialist
for industries like Consumer, Automotive, Retail, Cold chain and Industrial
sectors. The Muscat-based joint venture company is backed by the global
execution experience and logistics expertise of APL Logistics.
According to TechSci Research,
the rapid diversification and rising consumption of economic activities APL
logistics is expanding its presence in Oman. Oman is known for its strategic
location, highly capable work force and well-established infrastructure. APL
logistics will help the customer base of Oman to enjoy the flexible high tech logistics
and cold chain services which can solve the complex day to day issues across production
and inbound logistics, order management, multi-modal transportation, packaging,
