MNCs Introduce Mobile Compatible Biometric Enrolment Systems
India: The biometric system, which has been
developed in collaboration with the Safran
Security & Identity, is available with Airtel in Delhi- based stores.
Furthermore, Airtel plans to reach across the country as well. Vodafone plans
to roll out in the coming month.
This
idea aims at verifying the subscriber’s identity with the help of Aadhaar based biometric system despite of regular
documentation process. The compliance with Aadhaar card would further help in
carrying out the administrative processes in numerous other context with ease.
This
will emphasize on enhancing the convenience level for the customers and will ensure
that the customers don’t register SIM cards on presumed basis. Further, this
would make the subscription process faster and less cumbersome.
