eKYC encompassing the government and private enterprises and rise in the use of
the biometric modality considered to be reliable in context to the various
Government initiatives. Further, the iris is considered to be a more reliable
and secured means to identify and secure people, plus it works for all people
belonging to any age group, and of any working category.
The ActiveIRIS includes software for
iris capture and further has segmentation which includes the authentication for
the UIDAI servers. The software when combined with UIDAI standard compliant
iris hardware components allows the software to work reliably across population
wherein the mobile devices work efficiently.
