Clariant Starts New Manufacturing Facility in Mexico
Mexico: Clariant International
Ltd., a Switzerland based specialty chemicals company, started a new production
facility for manufacturing of water based pigments in Santa Clara, Mexico. The
company would provide various products and services under different market
segments such as decorative coatings, industrial coatings, non-impact and flexo
printing, and various specialty products for home care, personal care and
stationery. The company has also planned to come up with a new plant at the
same location by the end of 2016. This plant would be involved in the
manufacture of solvent based pigments. The commencement of this facility also
doubled the company’s production capacity for aqueous dispersions in Mexico.

this expansion would further helps the company to improve their production base
in the country as well as enhance their product offering and services in the
North American, Central American and South American markets.
