Japan:
In 2023, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. introduced the Nissan Hyper Force, marking the
culmination of its groundbreaking series of five "hyper" concept vehicles.
In a strategic move, Nissan has progressively unveiled an Electric Vehicle (EV)
concept every week since October 3, building anticipation leading up to the
Japan Mobility Show. This showcases Nissan's unique ability to anticipate and
address a wide spectrum of future customer needs and lifestyles, as highlighted
in an official press release.
The
five concept cars presented at this event serve as beacons of the future and
embody our pioneering spirit of 'daring to do what others don't.' The company
have taken significant strides in EV innovations, expanding beyond mobility to
foster a more sustainable world. These EVs represent the company vision for a
future where the company creates a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive world for
everyone, all without sacrificing the thrill of passions and dreams. Through
the power of innovation, Nissan is shaping a future where the joy of mobility
is accessible to all."
The
Nissan Hyper Force is tailor-made for racing enthusiasts and gamers who yearn
for the exhilaration of the racetrack while staying eco-conscious. It stands as
an all-electric high-performance supercar that aims to offer the ultimate in
driving pleasure, coupled with remarkable environmental performance and daily
comfort.
The
heart of this supercar boasts a high-output all-electric powertrain,
incorporating an optimal-weight-balancing, all-solid-state battery capable of
generating up to 1,000 kW of precise and swift acceleration. Further enhancing
performance, the vehicle incorporates powerful downforce, an advanced iteration
of Nissan's e-4ORCE all-wheel control technology, and a lightweight body
constructed from high-strength carbon, ensuring superior cornering and
exceptional handling on both circuits and winding roads. The exterior design is
a seamless fusion of sleek curves and bold geometry, reflecting the
high-performance capabilities beneath the surface. It pays homage to Nissan's
legacy of high-performance vehicles with elements like front and rear lamps.
Moreover, the design optimizes aerodynamics in collaboration with the NISMO
racing team, generating substantial downforce.
The
Nissan Hyper Force offers two driving modes, "R" (racing) and
"GT" (grand touring). The graphical user interface adapts its color
and display according to the mode, presenting critical information to the
driver in real-time. In "R" mode, the cabin is bathed in red light,
creating a cockpit focused on the driver, while "GT" mode bathes the
cabin in blue light, offering a more relaxed infotainment interface. Safety is
a paramount consideration in this concept car. The vehicle features advanced
autonomous drive capabilities equipped with hyper LIDAR and an array of sensors
tuned for sports driving, ensuring a high level of safety on both public roads
and the circuit.
One
of the Hyper Force's defining features is an innovative augmented reality (AR)
and virtual reality (VR) experience that enables seamless transitions between
real and virtual driving worlds. Additionally, an exclusive music video
livestreamed on Nissan's YouTube channel combines the talents of six artists
from around the world, representing a fusion of music and concept cars.
