IBM launched new initiatives for Indian developers
India: IBM, a U.S. technology company made an
announcement in Bangalore at IBM Developer Connect for Indian developers in
order to advance their careers. The company launched new initiatives such as
global programs and tools to boost developer’s skills in cloud and emerging
technologies, such as cognitive and IoT.
The
company has launched these initiatives in collaboration with Coursera, an
educational technology company and GitHub, web-based repository hosting
service. In addition, IBM also launched new cloud tools for Swift and Watson
designed for mobile development and cognitive apps as well as launched three
digital hubs with NASSCOM in order to connect Indian developers and start-ups
with local resources and networking opportunities.

in strengthening the developer ecosystem in India. As well, new programs will
